Simulated section of wall 8' x 8' (2.44m x 2.44m) mounted vertically in test frame Impactors suspended by 3.2 m length of rope between impactor and overhead hook to rest against test sample. Impactor pulled back and up to drop height and released allowing impactor to swing in falling arc until it impacts the sample. After impact, sample inspected for any cracks, or other damage around impact point. |
